After finalizing who and where we are filming, we needed to incorporate dialogue to add more details and action to the movie. We began by looking at our storyboards to see the scenes we are filming and need to add dialogue to. The first section starts with the group of girls walking up to the school with background music playing for majority of the scene. Before the music starts, we wanted to have the girls say something along the lines of, “Ahh first day back” or “doesn’t it feel good to be back” with a “no” response. We believe this gives the audience some detail on what is going on at the school and why the girls are saying some of the things they do later on in the movie. Throughout the next part of the film while the girls are looking at everyone in the hallways, there will be no need for dialogue as there will be background music playing over to further show the chaos of the scene. During the beginning of this week, we had to begin planning the details of who, where, and exactly what we were going to film. This includes finding locations to film at, people to film, gathering any props needed, incorporating dialogue, and finalizing any important details necessary. To begin this process, my group and I began texting our friends to find actors and actresses for our movie which turned out more successful than we had anticipated. Most of the people we texted were more than happy to be involved in the film, which means we have created majority our casting group. We needed an actor for the teacher role in our movie, so we headed over to our favorite teacher Mr. Swirles who said he would participate in the movie as well.      This week during class we began to plan our movies with more detail using a storyboarding method. According to James Higgins, “Storyboard is a flexible and comprehensive tool that can be used by a group to devise creative concepts.” During the process of creating our storyboard, we had some troubles planning how we were going to include all the aspects we wanted and needed to within the time limit we were given. Because one of our goals is to foreshadow some future elements of the movie, we had to find a drama source that we could include throughout to ensure that we did so. We weren't sure what element we could use to do this, but after a few conversations we decided to include a boy that all the girls in the group had feelings for. The idea of adding this boy into the movie also added a more dramatic effect with the friend group, which is perfect for our movie as it is a comedy and drama movie.
